Install

Three ways to get ContextBridge. The CLI is the full tool; the plugin and skill guide Claude.

CLI

pip install contextbridge-cli
contextbridge --version

Requires Python 3.9 or newer and git. The package has no runtime dependencies.

Claude Code plugin

This adds four slash commands: /contextbridge:init, /contextbridge:checkpoint, /contextbridge:resume and /contextbridge:status.

Claude skill

The repository ships the skill as skills/contextbridge/SKILL.md and as a ready-made upload, dist/contextbridge-skill.zip, in the GitHub repository ↗. The skill is written for a coding environment with repository file access; in browser chat it only works with files you provide.
